We warranty our Trash Locks against any animal damage (EXCEPT GRIZZLY BEARS) for two years.  If you have any issues, please contact us directly.   See below for the full warranty

Occasionally, a bolt or nut will come loose, we will send you replacement hardware or. you can get them at your local hardware store:

• • Nuts - We use a special serrated flange nut, but you can go to your local hardware store and ask them for a 1/4" - 20 stainless steel lock nut.  You are also going to want to put a 1/4 stainless washer (see below) between it and the inside of your cart; otherwise a bear could pull it right through the cart.  Here is the lock nut at Lowe's and Home Depot.  
    
  • Washer - We use a 1/4" stainless steel washer.  Here is the washer at Lowe's and Home Depot

  • Bolts - We use a 1/4" - 20 x 3/4" stainless steel pan head machine screw.  Here is a comparable screw at  Lowe's and Home Depot.

 

 

Two-year Animal-Resistant and Limited Replacement Warranty

The Warranty period is two years after purchase:

Note: This Limited Warranty is valid only for Trash Locks that are bought through authorized channels. Our authorized channels are the websites that are registered by Primacy Solutions and any store registered in the name of Primacy Solutions/TrashLocker.com/TrashLockers.com on online marketplaces. Regretfully, we can't determine the authenticity/original condition of products sold through other channels. Hence, we can't provide warranty service for those products.

What is covered:

·         Our Trash Locks are warranted against any manufactured defect for a period of twenty-four months from the date of purchase.   

·         If the Trash Lock or part thereof is damaged during that time due to an animal interaction, excluding a grizzly bear,  Primacy Solutions will replace the failed part.  This shall be the sole remedy. 

·         Damage caused by trash trucks, their operators, improper installation and/or misuse or abuse of the product is explicitly excluded from this warranty.  Damage to trash carts, composters, or other objects that the Locks are installed on is excluded as well.  This warranty applies only to Primacy Solutions Trash Lock products.

Our commitment to you:

All Primacy Solution Trash Lock customers are eligible for our warranty immediately after purchase. If you have any questions about whether your product is still under warranty, please email Support@TrashLockers.com and ask about your warranty status. We will ask you to provide:

·         Your full name

·         Your order number and date

·         Your address

·         A picture of the broken/damage part

To obtain warranty service

Please contact our Customer Service at Support@TrashLockers.com and inform them of the nature of the problem and a picture of the issue. Customer Service will provide you with information on how to proceed.

Consumer Protection

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state to state.
